James Tan is a Director of WOW Architects and Warner Wong Design. He leads a team of designers and architects in the design and implementation of numerous successful projects including the award winning Vivanta by Taj in Bangalore, for which he was project director for design development and implementation.
Since joining WOW architects in 2003, James has overseen key regional architectural and interior design projects in Singapore, Indonesia, India, Dubai and Africa. James has realized the design of award wining projects including Vivanta by Taj in Bangalore and Gurgaon, Archifest Pavilion, the Bishopsgate House in Singapore, the Conrad Manila Bay Hotel and the Mandala House in Bangalore.
As a design manager and mentor, James leads the design team on numerous important projects including IREO Victory Valley, Conrad Manila Bay and other Commercial, Residential and Hospitality projects in the region. He plays a pivotal role in Design Management for Interior Design projects including Hotels, Private Residences Wellness facilities.
James earned a Bachelor of Arts (Architecture) and a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from the National University of Singapore. Following his graduation, he worked at a number of offices in Hong Kong and Singapore, including Andrew Tan Architects and KNTA Architects where he was the Project Architect for the Singapore Management University Project.
