Associate Director – Business Development

We are currently seeking an Associate Director for Business Development with experience and extensive global network in the hospitality and the residential development sector. In this position you will be responsible for seeking out and generating leads which lead to pitches, engagement, relationship building and growth in the company pipeline, both from existing and new clients. You will be the brand ambassador for the company and represent the company globally for such opportunities where they arise and ensure value creation and addition for the company on these leads. In addition, you will be responsible for development and management of best practices to maximise the pipeline, conversion rate, forecasting accuracy and cross-functional collaboration. Further you will also be responsible for collaborating with the company’s design principals and director to calculate project costs to ascertain the fee to be quoted, prepare the proposal, submit and present to the client, negotiate the fee and the contractual terms on behalf of the company and attain management sign off all these activities before closing the transaction. You will also be responsible for maintaining and building further relationship with clients to ensure continued business pipeline.

CONTRACT: Full time
LOCATION: Singapore

SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • 12+ Years’ experience in a similar role with Architecture and Interior Design firms.
  • Bachelor of Architecture or equivalent degree in related design field.
  • Hands on experience of having designed and executed projects from concept to completion.
  • String network in the hospitality and residential development sector with business owners, developers, operators, etc.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Fluency in Mandarin would be an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, planning, organisational, communication and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrate the desire and ability to mentor and motivate staff.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, InDesign and Adobe Suite
  • Understanding of project scheduling and budgeting.
  • Exceptional negotiation, Presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Up to date with the competitive environment and the latest design and market trends.
